Four days after Uniden's repair warranty expired, my SDS100 died again! As best I can tell, it's the J401 board issue . . . I have had lots of scanners in my time. The old scanners worked fine with a amplified speaker plugged in the headphone jack. Look at the specs for the bottom one, that comes with a cable. It's 5 volts at 3.4 amps. Of the other two, the top one is 4.8 amps, and the second one is 4.8 amps, or if using both ports, 2.4 amps per port. It's right under the V of the View dropdown menu. In the Profile Editor, click on the Service Types tab. Now, out in the middle of the Service Types list, <Right Click on a blank spot. That will give you a small pop-up menu where you can either enable all Service Types on, or turn all of them off (Disabled).. P f chang

The overwhelming majority of Uniden scanners are sold and used in North America. That is what determines the system types and features. Both GPS devices require outside power when used with the SDS100. They do provide power TO the SDS100 but require 12VDC power to the GPS. Dec 11, 2021 · The SDS100, handheld brother, has the same display format, just smaller and narrower. It also uses a battery pack instead of AA batteries. It will fully seat on the scanner, and has an o-ring to maintain the weather resistance of the scanner. The REM-800B is the same antenna, but with a BNC mount.
